Summary: Literacy Learning Goals offers a differentiated approach that reinforces literacy knowledge for all students in the class while linking learning between school and home through individualised learning goals. The goals steadily build students’ writing skills, including through links with reading and oral language. The school–home connection is strengthened as each goal features in a learning goal sheet that can be included in homework books and readily shared with parents.
