Teenage Jessica moves to Bixby, Oklahoma, where, she discovers, time stops for an hour every night at midnight. She and a small group of fellow classmates are among the few who have the ability to experience this twenty-fifth hour of the day+along with dangerous, enemy creatures known as darklings.
